陈博士在马来西亚公务员体系任职28年,供职于八个政府部门,历任种植业与原产品部、水务及土地与自然资源部秘书长,首相署公私合作伙伴关系局副局长等高级职务,成为公私合作伙伴关系、可持续发展、基础设施建设及经济政策领域的顶尖专家。他牵头制定了《国家气候变化法案》、《2030 年公私合作伙伴关系总体规划》等关键国家政策框架,主导了马新高速铁路、欧盟《可再生能源指令二》生物燃料谈判、跨境谅解备忘录签署等标志性项目,凭借卓越表现荣获联合国教科文组织教育与经济网络 “公共服务与可持续发展卓越奖”,享誉国际。 作为中马合作的重要人物,陈博士担任2024年马中峰会(纪念两国建交50 周年)总专员、马中关丹产业园副主席、关丹港联营体董事。目前,他担任马来西亚种植业与原产品部产业顾问、德勤会计师事务所及实康有限公司高级顾问,并为2025年东盟技术合作与发展峰会提供顾问支持。 Dato’Dr. Tan Yew Chong is the Honorary Professor at Nanjing Forestry University and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, while also the Chairman of Gadang Holdings Berhad and an Independent Non-Executive Director, with a distinguished career spanning public service, corporate advisory and academic leadership. He holds an outstanding academic portfolio: an honours degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Psychology, a Master of Business Administration from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Monash University Australia, complemented by executive training at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. A Fellow of the UK’s Chartered Management Institute, he also holds a World Bank-APMG Public Private Partnership (PPP) certification. With 28 years of service in Malaysia’s civil service across eight ministries, he held senior posts including Secretary General of the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities and the Ministry of Water, Land and Natural Resources, and Deputy Director General of the PPP Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department emerging as a preeminent expert in PPP, sustainability, infrastructure and economic policy. He crafted pivotal national frameworks such as the National Climate Change Bill and the PPP 2030 Masterplan, and led landmark initiatives including the Malaysia-Singapore High Speed Rail, EU Renewable Energy Directive II biofuels negotiations and cross-border MoUs. Internationally recognised, he was awarded UNESCO-EE Net’s Excellence in Public Service & Sustainable Development Award. As the important figure of China-Malaysia cooperation, he served as Commissioner General of the 2024 Malaysia-China Summit (celebrating 50 years of diplomatic ties), Vice Chairman of the Malaysia China Kuantan Industrial Park and a board member of the Kuantan Port Consortium. Currently, he is Industry Advisor to Malaysia’s Minister of Plantation and Commodities, Senior Advisor at Deloitte and Salcon Berhad, while also providing advisory support for the 2025 ASEAN Technology Cooperation & Development Summit. | ||
